Columns Dance and Wellness Centre
A poetic interweaving of projected photography and dance, seven women share the struggles they each endure between their conditioned selves and their true nature. Designed to provoke poignant, honest dialogue by intimately confronting the destructive nature of commercially propagated norms through social and mass media. Affectionately named ‘The Pearls,’ embodying diversity in cultures, genres, ages and ethnicities, they dance with their digitally projected selves in an intimate setting. Audiences are immersed on the periphery and in the center of the action. Seating is capped at 30 per performance.
